PBS | I, Cringely . June 9, 2005 - Going for Broke

Like all good conspiracy theories, it (barely) hangs together, but is so amusing you cheerfully get past all that: Apple and Intel are going to merge.

The Belmont Club: The Sound of Silence

How's your blood pressure? The Belmont Club: The Sound of Silence

TCS: Tech Central Station - The Collectivist Feeling

First, let me say that I liked this short essay about thinking v. feeling quite a lot. I wonder, though, at Mr.Kling's use of "libertarian" (lower case "L") as a rough analog of "good". Maybe it's my personal distaste at the obvious counter-productive antics of the Libertarians (upper case "L"), but I'd really rather use a completely different adjective to emphasize my distance from Harry Browne et al.

Anyway, go read it.
