Emblem-A-Palooza

I decided to gear up my pally in advance of the incoming warrior tank nerfs. I got quite a bit of playtime this weekend, and spent almost all of it running random heroic dungeons.

Saturday morning, I had not played my pally at all since he dinged 80, so he was sitting in Dalaran in quest greens and blues, covered in a sheen of dust and neglect. I grabbed Pawn scales for prot and ret from Elitist Jerks, and started chain-queueing random heroics.

By the time I went to bed Sunday night, I had four (4) emblems of frost, because I ran heroics for two days. I had purchased the T9 ret chestpiece for 50 emblems of triumph, the T9 prot gloves for 30 emblems of triumph, and have 14 emblems of triumph burning a hole in my pocket. Quick math check: 50 + 30 + 14 = 94 emblems in two days ... dayum, but gearing up has gotten quite a bit more straightfoward.

PugChecker.com shows my track record so far, and it looks like at least 16 heroic dungeons. I say "at least" because there's a bug in how the Armory tracks how many times you've completed Drak'Tharon Keep. It shows I've done it at least once, but I don't know how many more times I ran it.

So maybe one more full day and I'll have enough T9 to queue up as a tank, and we'll see how much easier pallies have it than warriors. I also need to queue up for ToC specifically because there are still drops that I need for both prot and ret.

94 emblems, though ... that's amazing.
