Cheese Levels Are Dangerously High

We watched the American Idol final performance last night, and we commented to each other how amazingly atrocious the songs from the "write a sappy song" contest were. I blame the producers; if they hadn't picked such saccharine dreck the first time, we wouldn't be drowning in the hyper-focused syrupy twaddle three years later.

Anyway, Defamer summarized it thusly: David Archuleta Stops Weep-Giggling Long Enough to Pound David Cook into a Fine, Grungemo Pulp which is technically wrong but oh-so-right anyway. I thought David Cook took it in a walk, and DialIdol seems to agree with me.
