Ouch! That must have hurt Lady Gaga. Why so touchy Stefani? Adam Levine's tweet must have hit a nerve with the self absorbed star because even though he didn't make any mention as to who he was tweeting about, Lady Gaga automatically assumed it was about her. Imagine that? Gaga thinking something is about her.

Not only did Levine's Tweet cause Stefani to get a bug up her butt, her sycophant friend and brain washed Scientologist, Single White Tara, came to the damsel in distresses' aid and valiantly waved her blush brush over her keyboard and tweeted:

What's ironic about Frederic's tweet is that his boss is the one claiming to be art's next Messiah.

What I find more interesting than one pop artist's opinion about another, is Gaga's reaction to a tweet that could be about anyone. Let's get real, Maroon 5 is the epitome of a commercially produced, generic pop band. I didn't mind a few of their earlier hits but ever since "Moves Like Jagger", the band went downhill from there. Levine is in no position to criticize other pop star's "art" when his music and genre isn't exactly art either. Then again, Levine never claimed that it was. That's the key difference between him and Gaga.

So why did Gaga automatically assume his tweet was about her? It's probably because she's acutely aware of what people say about her on the Internet and in media. Assuming the tweet was about her, Levine isn't the first celebrity to criticize her. I'm sure she's offended many of her peers with her passive aggressive insults because she's completely stuck on herself. Lady Gaga's favorite person and favorite subject is Lady Gaga and that's all there is to it. Remember, this is a woman who had the audacity to call herself the foie gras among the french fries.

The truth is what Gaga does is no better and no different than what other pop acts have done. Yet, she is the only one trying to pass her work off as some high art shit; because she seriously believes that she's in a league of her own. The fact that she thinks she the first person to bring art and pop together attests to that. Stefani made it about her because she knows Levine is right.

Stefani is the type of person that would spend her free time reading discussion boards and blogs to learn what people are saying about her. Any criticism kills her and her narcissistic tendencies won't allow her to let it roll like water off a duck. She states at any chance how she doesn't care what people think; and that's a dead giveaway that she cares more than she wants to let on.

Another reason why Stefani assumed Levine's tweet was about her is because deep down inside she's terrified that people are losing interest in her; and they are. When Bethenny Frankel and Danielle Staub beat you in ratings, you know you're in trouble.

Levine ended the embarrassing Twitter display by Gaga and her ass acne by tweeting.
